The following just flitted through my brain:
I am the apex of wasted potential
…
Nah, you don’t have that much potential.
Getting a word in edgewise
The following just flitted through my brain:
I am the apex of wasted potential
…
Nah, you don’t have that much potential.
Also, I feel like there must be many people out there with so much MORE wasted potential, on both relative and absolute scales. 🙂
I’m imagining a cone of wasted potential slowly sliding, wide-end-first, through a plane, right now the apex of the cone is about to slip through the plane, which closes behind it. When the cone finally passes through the plane, the potential will stop being wasted.
(p.s. I don’t believe in wasted potential unless someone dies. I think the various things we play with when we’re not doing “work” are often beneficial in one way or another.)
I have had a similar thought dominating my mind (with respects to myself if that needs to be made clear) for the last little while. Both the 1st and 2nd premise in about equal parts.
Mat look very angry in that picture. =)
I think it’s false for both of us, but the emotion is troubling.
