Good heavens, have neither of you heard of a “joke”?
It’s not like I took this thing seriously. I’m sure the original author was aware that the entire bible belt went to bush. I’m willing to grant a certain amount of artistic license in the drawing of lines. *shrug*
Granted, if they made a similar point about earthquakes and california, I’d probably be less amused, and more exhasperated, but there you have it.
😉 No harm, no foul. But to an atheist-leaning agnostic, just about anything related to God is a joke. Some of it makes me want to laugh, some of it makes me want to cry, but jokes all the same.

I didn’t read anything in your original post that indicated you thought it was a joke and I’ve seen this before where people actually believe it.
