Setting things up

I have a sublet that starts on July 1st. I have a student id, a gym membership, a contact on a local gay swim team, applications complete for bus pass and health insurance, a job. Fortunately the sublet is cheap enough so that I’ll be able to get back to CA for the wclbbq over the july 4th weekend. Kick ass.

is being a great host. He’s even introduced me to a new addiction (ff xi), and been very understanding of my terrorizing his bunny. Still, I can’t help but feel like I’m getting in the way, and leaving his home really short on space, and that it’s best that I were elsewhere.

He’s also been sick the past couple of days. He’s been getting better since sunday though, so that’s cool.

MN’s climate is great. I’m missing berkeley’s traffic control barrels already. Found some veggie chinese spots, but my budget doesn’t let me use them. =) My aversion to chains, particularly mcdonald’s based chains, also keeps me away from chipotle, the only mexican I’ve found. =) Still, grocery co-ops. And sleep. Sleep is good, too.

      1. Woohoo! Me too!

I’m going to be leveling Thief as a sub for my Samurai, which is now almost at its first level limit. If you want/need some partying ropes, lemme know!

        1. Perhaps I should have said “the Brians”, though I do know even more ‘Brian *son’s on lj.

I’m not planning on taking this character too seriously. If I decide to get into it later, I’ll get my own account. Minniboma is more for practice. If only the two were separate, we could have a low level partying experience, you with thief, with one of his myriad new advanced jobs, and me still climbing the red (or black, or white, if I wanted to go from level one) mage track.

          1. Well, if you’re serious about it, we could probably fix a static party, so we’re always balanced and always leveling together. I’ve been looking for one for awhile.

Probably makes the game much more interesting adding to how interesting it already is.

  1. Good host?
Bah, I feel like I’ve been dismissing you unfairly because I can’t see past the squadron of leprechauns taking pickaxes to my brain.
And even after you go, Rex will be watching… and waiting…
