“Take a gulp and take a breath, go ahead and sign the scroll…”
Well, I’m signing up to volunteer for dean doing canvassing stuff in phoenix this weekend. I doubt I’ll have alot in the way of spare time to hang with the locals or whatever, but if any of y’all would like to meet me and/or volunteer to put me (and possibly a friend or two, maybe including
Ooooh… a weekend with an ex-roommate in a slumber party-esque situation. Tempting…. very tempting.
Potential problems:
My car: seats two… see ’88 Nissan 300ZX. So any more than, well, you and someone would have to smoosh in the back. Alternatively, I live no more than $5-7 cab ride away from the airport… you exit the airport at 24th street, turn right, and then turn right into my complex once past the freeway.
My place: I just moved in. Accomadations include futon in the living room and a california king in the bedroom which I just got… so I’m not giving it up. 😛
But it is an offer and I would like to see you regardless who you stay with if you have the free time, if only for coffee or something.
Let me know. 🙂
I’m going. Give me a call whenever you get this. 510-459-4377 😉
“Take a gulp and take a breath, go ahead and sign the scroll…”
One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies for one of my favorite reasons.
Good luck with that! I considered doing it, partly as a way to go to New Mexico, and partly because I feel I should be doing something. Of course, I don’t particularly mind if Kerry ends up winning, so at this point I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want to take the time and money to do something that might be extremely uncomfortable for me that I might not be able to do well. But more power to you!
The trip should be a bit of fun (and also some hard work). Not to mention it’s going to be much warmer than fucking New Hampshire. I’m looking forward to it.
I signed up about half an hour after recieving the mail, at like 3am. I’m pretty sure I’m in, but have heard nothing from the organizer. Hrm.
