Got up early, and went to join Cal Rugged for a bike ride around angel island. We had fun. Biking & climbing. Very leisurely pace. We did have an explosive flat, due to what I think was over pumping of a bike tire. Though, it could have been a really crappy inner tube. Probably a little of column a, a little of column b. This meant that we swapped off running & biking. (well, there were 10 of us. At one point, on the downhill) I volunteered to run. We also had an attractively dorky mech e grad student riding a unicycle. It was cool.
the unicyclist must develop really amazing lower ab muscles (and general muscle tone!) doing the exercise he does!
Yeah. I can see how he can say it’s not that hard. I mean, I did give it a try. And I could see me managing it, if I kept at it, but I think I’m happier on two wheels, with a tiny bit of a gut hanging over my waistband 😉
