Of late, my favorite branch of government has been the judiciary.
Whether allowing gay marriage, decriminalizing sodomy, smacking down RIAA subpeonas, giving guantanamo bay prisoners some measure of legal protection, or speaking out against god in the pledge of allegiance, they’ve been doing some good work. Go them.
No no, they’re renegade activists overstepping their bounds, according to the administration. How dare they hold the other two branch’s activities to constitutional guidelines?
tell me more about the RIAA subpeonas? i haven’t heard anything about that… a link would suffice 🙂
