Yay. Nausicaa is showing on the berkeley campus. On sunday. Sadly the screen is not huge, but it’ll be the biggest screen I’ve ever seen it on. Subbed, not dubbed. And not warriors of the wind. If only

Orbitz sez it’s a mere $193 for a round-trip ticket from minneapolis/st paul to the san jose airport (from which you could be picked up) friday evening through monday morning, or something like that. (I didn’t carefully examine the times 😉 Plus, hey, tourist opportunity to check out SF 😉
That’s way cheaper than the gas for even a single direction car trip. =)
Well, I was wrong, actually. Assuming 50 miles/gallon (my roomie has a honda crx), it would be more like $80 per direction for gas. =) But still….
And if you went for the $253 trip to sfo, airport travel wouldn’t be a pain in the ass. I had no idea how cheap it was. I should go up and visit Seth some time.
That is cheap! Must be two hubs of the same airline. I really do want to see non-LA California sometime.
