Its screen works beautifully, with no vertical red lines anywhere.
It continues to work for more than 5 seconds after I have removed power (haven’t stress tested this yet, but so far it has worked for up to about 2 minutes or so 😉
It can reliably communicate with our wireless router.
It is much faster (courtesy the 50% CPU speed increase, and the doubling of the RAM, most likely).
It can use my old (and much larger) hard drive. I’ve even preserved my mp3 collection. (though I do have to do some ridiculous song and dance to make this work, because, for different reasons, I need to reinstall all my operating systems).
Its keyboard doesn’t pop out of broken casing, in part because the casing is whole.
In short, it doesn’t suck. Yay! =)
