a light at the end of the tunnel

Yay sublessor found, and should have a roommate selected before the end of the day tomorrow.

I was told that I ought to record the following phrase, used to describe the way of geeks:

“the reservation that spills over into passionate intensity, then vanishes”.

It’s kind of lame out of context, but still, it was a good thing at the time.

I still have goals of a real update. Oh, and reading my freaking friendslist at some point in time. So…. sleeepy.

G’night all, gym in the morning.

      1. I didn’t mean that the comment itself was lame. I meant that the “it’s lame out of context” observation is geek-defining as well.

        I hope I didn’t offend…

        1. No, your comment wasn’t offensive at all. I just wanted to say “Bill’s not the boss of you.” It’s been a long time since I’ve used that phrase, and I missed it.

i hope you mean what i think you mean … which is becoming passionate about something you shouldn’t be passionate about, like counterstrike (is that a computer game?) or, well, duct tape weapon jousting. if that’s what you mean, then i totally agree. geeks love the shit out of silly things like that, then it is over as fast as it came on.

did my friend simon ever get in touch with you about the roommate thing? he expressed interest to me.

oh! you should come over tonight if you can. we are having a small gathering various types of homos (some grad students, some circuit boys, some geeks) to watch the gayness on bravo tonight. i think we’ll also be serving ice cream and/or alcohol. being anyone you want to … or who wants to come. 🙂

  2. Bro nice to see you back. And nice comment.
I think I might just have to follow your example on sleep. I managed a day of work on 3hours of sleep.
It was fun and entertaining in the end.
