cashew butter!?!
my hips expanded just reading your recipe
one must ask ..
just what half a cup of earth balance is.
Re: one must ask ..
organically raised DIRT! and lots of it. it gives the recipe substance… grounds the whole thing really. mellows out the strong flavors while at the same time adding complex overtones. hints of decayed leaves and whispers of worm carrion produce an ‘all natural’ flavor that no one can resist. 🙂
Re: one must ask ..
lol
now i have to wonder if the worms at a certain latitude or soil ph affect the bouquet of the “worm dirt” .. much like wine snobs attest that whatever side of the hill their misc.grape.du.jour grew on + all these absurd factors can affect their wine.
it was a serious question though. i couldn’t figure out where in the recipe something called earth balance could go. 🙂
Re: one must ask ..
Earth Balance is this vegan butter substitute. Also, no gmo, and unlike any margarine, no hydrogenated fats. The ingredients list is surprisingly non-scary, and I like the taste. I also prefer the taste of margarine to butter, so that’s something to be aware of. =)
Re: one must ask ..
oh very cool. okay. 🙂
one more bit to add to the short list of things i know that the vegan sorts can eat (that being a short list that i know, not a short list of potential things, of course.)
