fyi,
After an unfortunate incident with some clippers, I shaved my head. As in down to the skin. Rub it, you know you want to. =)
Getting a word in edgewise

Ahh.. I know it all too well. Changing the guard length for the back/sides… Then realizing you didn’t put it on. And then noticing the bright white rectangle of pale, shorn flesh. 🙁
Yeah, my incident was remarkably similar. =)
DOH!
But YAY! and I do want to rub it…
Though you just made me nervous I’m about to attempt to clip my chest fur tonight for the first time ever… I REALLY do not want to shave my chest but trimming it might be cool. But now I’m really nervous about it.
Re: DOH!
Just trim it all at once, and make sure you have the same guard on if you want to do touchups =) Shaving means stubble. Bleh.
I think that’s the best part about shaving your head. Everyone wants to touch it or rub it, and being as I would take a scalp massage or someone playing with my hair over a back rub (cuz I’m weird that way), always a good thing. Woo hoo! Go go gadget clippers!
Alas, such has not proven the case for me. Nobody touches it unless I tell them too. With the exception of and , ‘cuz they’re cool. =)
*rub*rub*
btw….
did you ever get anyone to help you even it out?
Re: btw….
Sorta. I was shaving my head with the disposable-blade razor I use for my face, and it was taking awhile. So the people I’d told I’d be at the white horse on monday showed up, and Russell, tall medic guy, hit the back of the head spots for me. =)
