I hope it’s not another 5 years before I see him, even if we aren’t weekend boyfriends next time.
Stardust is a great movie. I’d say it’s based on the book, but it’s not a retelling of the book. It’s a love story, and an action movie. A bit akin to the princess bride, but more grown up in a variety of ways. It’s fast paced but they still get time for character development in. I recommend watching the movie before reading the book, but I recommend doing both in whatever order occurs to one.
The movie and the book are both really good! I read the book first. I think the order doesn’t matter as long as the reader/audience realizes that there are a lot of differences and takes each for what they are, rather than wanting one to be just like the other.

Stardust is based on a book? None of the reviews I’ve read mentioned that. I’m surprised. I can’t wait to see that movie! Michelle Pieffier looks like she does a great job in the movie.
