pride 2nd thoughts

I have a niggling doubt that maybe I’ve been too harsh and perhaps I should attend pride. I will resist. It’s the same feeling that leads me back to the clutches of gay.com

      1. Awww.

You are ALWAYS welcome to join us, But just so you know, we’re not going with an agenda. We have friends going with friends that are going, so we’re gonna do a “meet and greet” and move from camp to camp.

Just walking talking and drinking with some people watching inbetween.

        Hows that sound?

    1. Do they even have a pride parade in Pittsburgh?

I suspect one would have to have a bit more political will to attend one of those and not just a touch of party spirit and a tolerance for gay people (which is all that is necessary for attending the SF event).

      1. Yep, they do, but I agree that I suspect it’s more political than party like. I can’t confirm, though, as I’ve never been (just always busy on that day, not against the idea).

      2. Yeah, marched in it several times. Larger than Burlington, VT’s, but much, much smaller than toronto’s or chicago’s. It still has the carnival feel to it, but it is more, not quite forced, but deliberate.
