Getting a word in edgewise

we’re headed up for the parade.
I was indifferent about it, but seems a lot of fun folks are attending so why not.
Don’t be a stick in the mud.
If you’re inviting me to hang out with you, then maybe. I ain’t going alone. =)
Awww.
You are ALWAYS welcome to join us, But just so you know, we’re not going with an agenda. We have friends going with friends that are going, so we’re gonna do a “meet and greet” and move from camp to camp.
Just walking talking and drinking with some people watching inbetween.
Hows that sound?
Sounds fine, though I may only tag along for an hour or two. Big crowds wear me out fast.
number is still the same if you have it lying around. =)
I indirectly responded to this in something I posted almost simultaneously with your posting this.
I attended a kids chess tournament and went swimming instead of going to Pride. It worked out Just Fine.
Do they even have a pride parade in Pittsburgh?
I suspect one would have to have a bit more political will to attend one of those and not just a touch of party spirit and a tolerance for gay people (which is all that is necessary for attending the SF event).
Yep, they do, but I agree that I suspect it’s more political than party like. I can’t confirm, though, as I’ve never been (just always busy on that day, not against the idea).
Yeah, marched in it several times. Larger than Burlington, VT’s, but much, much smaller than toronto’s or chicago’s. It still has the carnival feel to it, but it is more, not quite forced, but deliberate.
…but… but what about gaming pride?
I promise we’ll play something that involves diversity.
So far, it’s you, me and. Many others have specifically declared their unavailability.
