queer.net v gay.com

So, being fed up with the ads bombarding me with pictures of mostly to entirely naked (but carefully posed) men with bodies the likes of which I very rarely see in real life, I took one of those wild stabs in the net and found queer.net. I wasn’t terribly surprised to see it be something of the form “I don’t know what I want to put here yet, but I want to make it a place where you can feel free to express your inner being, without hookups and pictures of naked guys”. Undirected idealism is only mildly more appealing to me than heavily targeted advertising focused only on sex and clothes.
