1. Gaming, find local gamers via, um, I dunno. Craigslist. Google. Whatever it takes. Start one if I need to.
2. Join an aerobics class or 2 at my gym.
3. Take a spanish class, probably through Spanish Circle.
4. Keep at the environmentalist activist community stuff.
5. Um… I dunno. Other suggestions welcome.
if you goto your local gaming store, then you can connect with a bunch of local gamers and play something together.
Sadly, the only one I know of within city limits has no gaming space, and no bulletin board, nor anything announcing gaming club type activities. Board games are also not its primary item in stock.
Kinda sad, really.
hence craigslist. =)
got it… well i am sure you will find other gamers.
My experience has been that most of the gaming is in the suburbs (MD and VA). In Rockville, for instance, there’s a store called Dream Wizards where you might be able to find out something. There used to also be a store called The Game Place, which I liked better on account of the ownership being a lot nicer.
There’s a couple places in VA that I’ve visited but I don’t remember any names at the moment.
I dunno… the games I like to play most are best played on computer anymore.
There are many social groups that you can join or even create on http://www.meetup.com.
We should meet and game some time. What part of Chi-town do you live in, now?
You’ll have to excuse my lack of social-life, however… As of late, I’ve been more Turd than Todd. :-/ nintendotodd@yahoo.com
