If I worked a 30 hour week? I wouldn’t even mine making 75% as much as I do now. The free time would be tres welcome.

As long as they continued to pay health insurance, I’m there. 🙂
I made this switch very recently myself. If you would be happier, do it!
Alas, work does not provide the option. =)
That’s rather the situation I’, in. I deliver product for a company based 700 miles or so away. I have two long days (i.e. aprox. 8 hour days) with 3 days that vary from 5 to 6 hours or less and give me plenty of free time. Since I’m salaried and there’s no way to know how much work I’ll have to do in a given week I’m paid on the assumption that I work a 40 hour week. I don’t make a lot but the free time is pretty worth it.
Too bad I can’t spell ‘I’m’ .
I work a 24 hour week now that I have Rebecca. Before that I was working a 32 hour week. At my company you get benefits until you drop below 20 hours I think. I think it’s great I don’t have to work full time. I love my job, but there are a lot of other things I love too, so why work more than you have to?
That’s a pretty sweet deal. How long have you had Rebecca?

I’d be happy to take a 50% hours cut for a 50% pay cut.
