While browsing for Marry an American, I ran across this obnoxious website about why foreign women are better wives than american women. 1st, let’s say that gross over generalizations (contradictory between the multiple testimonies) are pretty insulting. Then let’s get into the attitudes these guys have towards women.
Weird, I say, weird.
Wow. The web site about foreign women is so over the top sexist, I wonder if it’s satire.
that site made me barf in my mouth.
It makes me wonder how people from the 50’s got to this century.
It also makes me think violent thoughts.
It’s kind of funny. I’ve seen that website, and others like it, before. I was reminded of them recently when I read “Cesar’s Way”, in which he talks about being raised in a “macho” culture that does not value women as people, and how marrying an American woman made him realize…well, the benefits of having a true partner. Just the opposite of a lot of what these men are saying.
I think the thing is – and you might not realize this as much because you’re gay and so aren’t faced with this on a getting-into-a-relationship basis – a lot of men are outright threatened by the very idea that a woman might not arrange all of her life to suit his whim. If she’s fat, it’s because of feminism; if she works or doesn’t cook, it’s because of feminism — and feminism’s GOAL is to DISENFRANCHISE men who OUGHT TO BE GETTING POON AND PIE, dammit, from skinny pretty girls who keep their lips zipped and never disagree or eat more than a sliver of the pie. Damn feminists, fucking men over like that with their daring to suggest that women operate to suit themselves and not to suit others.
Somehow it never occurs to these men that the reason American women want nothing to do with them is that they are jackasses….
