Well, it’s almost like winter in ohio now (ie warm, instead of ridiculously warm, for MN). And I lost my mittens at coffee on saturday. Having said this, my eyeballs will freeze in my skull the next time I step outside.
Getting a word in edgewise

OMG — mittens are so cute! Could you be more adorable?
These were black, windproof, forearm length mittens, designed for bikers. They even had little zipper-vents over the knuckles. & cost $80. =/
I hesitate to ask what your socks cost.
Hah. Those are totally generic, so losing one is not a problem. As you may have noticed, I tend to get the full value out of my socks. =)
I do recall noticing just that very thing.
Is it actually cold there? I was wandering around this weekend in a T-shirt and jeans and managed to only be slightly chilly when the wind blew hard enough.
I miss being warm. Someday I’ll find a warm place and stop languishing in stupid fuckin’ Pennsylvania.
In the meantime, I’ll keep my eyes open for “eye mittens.”
And you’re in the southern part, not too far from DC. =) (I <3 google maps)
That would be correct. Takes about 2.5 hours to get to DC or Philly from here. NYC is about a 4 hour drive away.
I lived in Pittsburgh for 7 years. I actually really liked the climate there. Save for the excessive rain. =)
But it’s not so accesible to the east coast megalopolis. =)
Indeed.I was born and raised near pittsburg until I was 13.
You should be glad you aren’t in Ohio right now. Today it was 63 and tomorrow it is supposed to be 33….kind of crazy!!!
