So, Steve Jackson games created GURPS Vorkosigan. This is nearly as wrong as the Serenity RPG. I mean c’mon people, create your own damn characters already. I’d object, even if the systems weren’t broken ass pieces of shit, which, btw, they are.
Besides, the face in the picture they have for Miles is way too pretty to be what he’s supposed to look like.
So, bleh.
Also, I’m finding myself increasingly disenchanted with the tabletop rpg genre of games as time progresses. *shrug* Dunno why.
GURPS sucks balls as a general rule anyhow.
I wasn’t put off by the serenity role playing game. It’s a compelling world, I can understand wanting to play in it. I doubt I’d have fun playing with people that wanted to play exactly out of the movie… but eh, it’s a cool idea. I doubt anyone will buy it.
Why sick of tabletop? Um, because you’re adult 😉 GURPS is ass, though Car Wars is surprisingly fun.
Have you looked into the new WoD?
It has some kinda cool stuff…
I’ve only started reading the Vorkosigan books in the last several weeks. I’ve finished The Warrior’s Apprentice and Mirror Dance. That picture looks a lot more like I would picture Mark than Miles.
Mirror Dance is the one Vorkosigan series book I haven’t gotten my hands on… yet.
There’s less Miles than usual in Mirror Dance, which is actually a bit of a relief! (=
