I finally got around to reading the Time article that came out a few weeks (months?) ago. The first paragraph left me wanting to burn the mag (the stereotype of gay culture irked me. We are not all affluent, fashion-oriented dilletantes.) It did get better from there, though it still irked me. The expectation that social scientists would be able to say anything meaningful about a population they cannot define, locate, or randomly sample also exhasperated me.
