Then PowerGrid in the evening. I was a little too slow about building the cities, and a little too fast to upgrade the plants. Bit me in the ass in the end. But I played asshole kingmaker anyway. =)
What’s PowerGrid? Is it like SimCity?
It’s a board game where you’re running a power company in a country (one side of the board is germany, the other is the US). You buy power plants, fuel to run the power plants, and access rights to distribute power within a city. Those are the basic actions, though the mechanics of the game are more intricate, and pretty interesting in and of themselves.
