So, I may be trimming people off my friends list soon. And I would like to make two points.
- Friends is an idiotic thing to call the group. Subscriptions is more accurate.
- Just because I crossed you off my subscriptions list doesn’t mean I don’t like you, I think you’re boring, or I think you’re a bad person.
You may want to try using friends groups. It makes it much easier to catch up with posts made, plus you can punt sets of entries. It’s pretty nice.
But yeah, I agree, “friends” is dumb. There should be two different subscription sets — one is which journals you’d like to read, and the other a list of who you don’t mind reading your friends-only posts.
