So you say you want to start a revolution, well you know….
This doesn’t include the shades of purple that was using, and which I would frankly prefer, but it does make a different point. Dems are not in a geographically contiguous area.

sadly, the dems only get major cities, hawaii, and my state.
that is pretty amazing. All of MA went the same way. (all of RI, too, but it’s much smaller). And only one county in vermont didn’t go. Kinda like idaho, wyoming, nevada and kansas in reverse.
i missed ri. i really wonder what it is about the northeast — population density, family history, or perhaps being more politically aware? whatever it is, i’m not complaining.
Maybe there are fewer electronic voting machines in those areas. The states with the most diebold machines are Florida and Ohio. It seems kind of odd when one compares the numbers for Florida: Bush(2000) 2,912,790 and Gore 2,912,253 changed to Bush(2004) 3,836,216 and Kerry 3,459,293. It seems very suspicious that with 1.39 million new voters that Kerry lost by 376,923 votes. Most exit polls in Florida had Kerry winning, yet he lost by 5%. This does not add up.
So basically when people concentrate and discuss things, the conclusions are Democratic. When people are allowed to fester in their own heads in their rusty shack out in Bumblefuck, Idaho they lean Republican. Interesting…
How does that explain the Iron Range? Check out northern Minnesota. How’d that happen? Here I thought we’d be the lone blue pocket around the twin cities… maybe some farming counties.
HUh, montana doesn’t look that bad… Mark Racicot, their former governor (who made it possible for state employyes to get partnership benefits), is being discussed as the next attorney general. That should help DOJ attract staff. Anything beats “must put a sheet over everything, including Justice statues because of bare breast” Ashcroft.
The Mississippi must be contaminated! It looks like everyone who lives near it must be gay! (In Illinois and Kentucky, the lands of Lincoln, they must be Log Cabin Republicans.)

You’re so cute when you employ deductive reasoning.
The hell? I’m cute 24/7.
It’s funny because it’s true.

Simple: MN > all
No Democratic counties AT ALL in Oklahoma or Alaska. Hmmm. Stear clear from those places.
Don’t forget Nebraska!

Did you see Racicot on the news in the past week? He’s a pretty awful dem-baiter. But it’s true, he’s better than Ashcroft.

Yup, we’re all gay. I’m proud to live in a democratic county.
