Ya know, if I had more follow through (particularly, a tendency to talk to people after the 1st, or rarely 2nd, meeting from the gay chat services) I might already have my desired circle of interesting acquaintances. I want more hours in the day, or reduced need for sleep, or something like that.
probable new lodging
I shouldn’t have moved to where I did. I am too damn far out. I’ll be relocating to some place much closer by april. However, best location is now winning out over best roommate. I may go back to living alone, probably in an efficiency. I haven’t lived alone since May of 2000. Almost 7 years. An odd thought.
Off to Twilight Imperium.
Catch you later, folks.
Snow day!
Get out of work early. Neat. And then board games in the burbs, ‘cuz we ain’t scared of no snow. =)
Protected: Feelings of uselessness
stuff to get
anyone know where I could buy a Nintendo ds in the dc area?
Hillary Clinton v Barack Obama, fight!
I very much like Gloria Steinem’s take on this one. (I’m a fan of Steinem in general)
falling snow
The snow falling outside my window is pretty. Still, I’m glad I’m in here.
Nice
Well, that was a fun date. Must remember the importance of pacing. =)
Massive decline in my LJing
Work has really cut into my blogging. I barely read my subscriptions anymore. It’s rather sad. =(
The options, always the options
So, april 14th & 15th I could be going to two conferences. There’s an environmental tech conference in pittsburgh, pa, and a social entrepreneurship conference at stanford. If I wanted to make a week of it, the enviro tech conference leaves me in town for carnival and my friends in pittsburgh. On the other hand, there’s the (quite substantial) appeal of the bay area and my friends out there. Based on the conferences alone, I’d lean towards Stanford. But, it’s been much longer since I’ve been in Pittsburgh than it has since I’ve made it out to the bay area.
Decisions, decisions.
