We have no net, and won&#8217;t have in until saturday.  I&#8217;m going through orientation.  Meeting cool people, and saying goodbye to others.  I can feel the, admittedly shallow, roots I put into <lj user=nevarren> and Ben by their absence.  <\/p>\n<p>I met a hot guy in my program who was checking me out during class.  It was good for the ego.  He has a boyfriend, but I wasn&#8217;t expecting anything to work out on that level.  Much fun to talk to.  He&#8217;s also midcareer on some interesting work.  I look forward to getting to know him better. <\/p>\n<p>Joe Y made me some cookies.  I shared a couple with <lj user=ludomancer>.  The three of us saw Hero together last night.  We have a roommate for at least a month.  He&#8217;s an older guy, owns a house in Duluth.  <\/p>\n<p>My gym routine is shot to hell this week.  As is my ffxi habit.  But the net should be back on saturday.  And I have the financial data lined up to apply for a ymca scholarship.  Here&#8217;s hopin on that front.  <\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;ve discovered &#8220;The Postal Service&#8221; through a cd left by <lj user=nevarren>.  Need to send $$ to her.  And to berkeley.
