So, I’ve known that I find Vin Diesel<\/a> hot<\/a>, but his imdb biography<\/a> revealed a number of other interesting things.<\/p>\n

So, back in the day when I went to pegasus on a regular basis, there was this guy. I loved watching him dance. He was good. And he was hot, in a way similar to the way that vin diesel is hot. (most notably, lotsa muscle). He also smoked. I combined these two datapoints (muscles, smokes) and assumed that he was dumb, and must be uninteresting to talk to. I didn’t say a word to him, I figured only bad things could result.<\/p>\n

Well, one day, in another setting, he noticed me. He was friendly, I was friendly back, conversation ensued. He showed a reasonable understanding of certain intellectual topics. I ended up driving him back to his place, and on the way, I admitted I’d watched him dance for months. He said he hadn’t noticed, and then asked me why on earth I hadn’t talked to him before. I blushed a little, and told him the truth in a very indirect fashion. He summed it up with an outraged and amused “You thought I was a fluff chick!” Which was really what it boiled down to. <\/p>\n

Good, if brief, things ensued, and he moved to nyc a week later (it was something he told me about shortly after we started talking).<\/p>\n

I did something similar with Mr Diesel, and another acquaintance who shall remain nameless. Whenever I run across something that counters my assumptions and results in a, “‘no, really, they have identities beyond ‘cute muscle guy #7′”, I end up feeling a little embarrassed, and a little stupid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
