I went to the green festival for the first time this weekend. I’m of two minds about the event. On the one hand, I think it’s great to see popular interest in environmental issues. On the other hand, the snake oil salespeople (many of whom doubtless believe in their products), purveyors of misleading psuedoscience, and overall lack of a broader framework or perspective for thinking about such important issues distresses me.<\/p>\n
