Begging for trouble<\/p>\n
Jumping into life heart first
\nYou’re trying to walk on dreams
\nLike they’re safe and stable ground
\nYou’re just asking for trouble<\/p>\n
It’s not like this is the worst
\nYou’ve ever seen. You’ve rehearsed.
\nOn this topic, you’re well versed.
\nThrough lips pouting and pursed
\nYou’ll swear that you’re cursed.
\nWhen you’re just jumping heart first.<\/p>\n
Ain’t it lovely, in moonbeams?
\nAll soft silver, so it seems.
\nVaguer than real, meaning teems.
\nSuch unreliable seams,
\nMake all the truth one deems.
\nWhen trying to walk on dreams.<\/p>\n
Even after you’ve been downed
\nRelying on what you thought was sound
\nYou’ll keep coming right back ’round
\nLike the whipped yet loyal hound
\nAnd we’d all thought you’d found
\nIt’s just not safe or stable ground.<\/p>\n
And so you blow another bubble
\nHoping it won’t fall to rubble
\nGround against the real world’s stubble
