And today I got messaged by a kid who has alot of growing to do. At least in dating terms. You see, he wants to find true love. And cuddle alot. And just love his boyfriend, whoever that ends up being. And he’s so tired of all the cheats and fakes out there, and all the time he’s spent along the way. At the ripe old age of 17. Also, he’s a state away and he “likes” me, based only on my profile (including some dated pictures). I think I might have been there at some point. No, check that, I’m 90% certain I _was_ there (or, you know, somewhere like that) at some point. A linguistics student from MIT named Nathan comes to mind. (Let’s not even discuss my first trip to NYC at age 19).<\/p>\n
I told him I preferred someone a little closer to my age, no offense intended (which happens to be true, if not all of what was going through my head). I wish there were some way I could have told him something more helpful. But sometimes, people just need to figure shit out for themselves. Good luck, kid. <\/p>\n
