Well, walking through life in a drugged haze is much more noticeable in school than when killing a weekend at home. Apparently, it has lowered my class participation barriers, and my presentation sans powerpoint didn’t seem to go too badly. I ‘um’ed alot, and may have lacked overall structure, but I knew the article backwards and forwards. The instructor’s feedback was nothing more than “good”. *shrug*<\/p>\n
And now a little note about bowel movements. Surgery doesn’t hurt. You’re thoroughly anesthetized. No one should freak out over surgery. Recovery from surgery on the other hand can blow quite a bit. The weekend had little pain, with some mobility restrictions. Then came my first dump. Certainly the second most painful thing I’ve done to myself. With lingerings. The most painful was peeing after I gave myself an overly enthusiastic urethral swab. That was phenomenally painful. Vision blacking out, knees buckling type pain, didn’t linger long. This pain, alas, takes longer to dissipate, and requires some active participation to accomplish.<\/p>\n
Curse my inability to focus exacerbated by these meds. I may need to request special academic dispensations after all, and that would rather piss me off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
